Chapter 1
Paul an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God and Timothy our brother to the church of God that is in Corinth with all the saints who are in Achaia: 2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of compassions and God of all comfort, 4 the one who comforts us in all of our affliction, toward our being able to comfort those who are in every affliction through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 Because as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our comfort also abounds through Christ. 6 Now if we are afflicted, it is on behalf of your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, on behalf of your comfort which operates in endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer, 7 our hope on your behalf is firm, knowing that if you are partakers of the suffering, so also of the comfort. 8 For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brothers, as to our affliction that has been in Asia, that we were burdened excessively beyond power, so as to despair even of our lives; 9 but we ourselves have had the sentence of death in ourselves, in order that we might not have trusted on ourselves but on the God who raises from the dead; 10 who delivered us out of so great a death and will deliver us, in whom we have hoped that indeed he will yet deliver us, 11 while you also cooperate in petition on our behalf, in order that for the gift to us through many thanks may be given on our behalf by many persons.
12 For this is our boasting, the testimony of our conscience, because we behaved in the world in sanctity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, and more especially with you. 13 For we do not write things to you other than what you can read or even perceive, and I hope that you will perceive, 14 as you also perceived us in part, because we are your boast even as you are also ours in the day of our Lord Jesus.
15 And in this persuasion I formerly determined to come to you in order that you might have a second grace, 16 and to pass through you to Macedonia, and again to come to you from Macedonia and to be set forward by you to Judea. 17 Therefore, determining this, did I then use fickleness?  Or do I determine the things which I determine according to the flesh, in order that with me there may be the “Yes Yes” and the “No No?” 18 But God is faithful that our word to you is not “yes and no.” 19 For the Son of God Christ Jesus, the one proclaimed among you through us, through me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not “Yes and No,” but “Yes” has been in him. 20 For all the promises of God are “Yes” in him; wherefore also through him is the “Amen” unto glory to God through us. 21 But the one who makes us firm in Christ with you and has anointed us is God, 22 the one who has both sealed us and given us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 Now on my life I invoke God as witness, that to spare you I came no more to Corinth. 24 Not that we rule over your faith, but we are fellow-workers of your joy; for you stand by faith.

Chapter 2
But I decided this in myself, to not come to you again in grief. 2 For if I grieve you, then who would make me glad except those who are grieved by me? 3 And I wrote this very thing lest when I come I should have grief from those in whom I should rejoice, having confidence in you all that my joy is all of you. 4 For I wrote to you out of much affliction and anxiety of heart through many tears, not in order that you should be grieved, but in order that you should know the love which I have more abundantly toward you. 5 But if anyone caused grief, he has not grieved me, but, lest I am burdensome, all of you in part. 6 This punishment by the majority is enough for such a one, 7 so that on the contrary you should rather forgive and comfort, lest such a one should be swallowed up by the more abundant grief. 8 Wherefore I beseech you to confirm your love to him; 9 for indeed I wrote to this end in order that I might know your proof, if you are obedient in all things. 10 Now to whom you forgive anything, I also; for indeed what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, it is on account of you in the person of Christ, 11 lest we are taken advantage of by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs. 12 But when I came to Troas in the gospel of Christ, and a door had been opened to me by the Lord, 13 I had no rest in my spirit when I did not find Titus, my brother, so saying farewell to them I went forth into Macedonia. 14 But thanks to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ and manifests through us the odor of the knowledge of him in every place; 15 because to God we are a sweet smell of Christ in those who are being saved and in those who are perishing, 16 to the latter an odor out of death unto death, to the former an odor of life unto life. And who is competent for these things? 17 For we are not as the many who hawk the word of God, but as of sincerity, but as of God we speak before God in Christ.

Chapter 3

Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some, commendatory epistles to you or from you? 2 You are our epistle, who have been inscribed on our hearts, that is known and read by all men, 3 manifesting that you are an epistle of Christ ministered by us, that has not been inscribed by ink but by the Spirit of a living God, not in stony tablets but in tablets which are fleshy hearts.

4 And we have such confidence toward God through Christ. 5 Not that we are competent from ourselves to reckon anything as of ourselves, but our competence is of God, 6 who also made us competent ministers of a new covenant, not of letter but of spirit; for the letter kills, but the spirit makes alive. 7 Now if the ministry of death that was engraved in letters in stone was glorious, so that the sons of Israel were not able to gaze at the face of Moses on account of the glory of his face, but is being done away, how will not the ministry of the Spirit be more glorious? 9 For if the ministry of condemnation was glory, the ministry of righteousness abounds by much more in glory. 10 For indeed the thing that had been glorified has not been glorified in this respect for the sake of the excelling glory. 12 Having therefore such hope we use much boldness, 13 and not as Moses put a veil on his face, so the sons of Israel could not gaze at the end of the thing that would be done away. 14 But their thoughts were hardened. For until the present day the same veil remains at the reading of the old covenant, it not being revealed that it is being done away in Christ. 15 But until today a veil lies on their heart whenever Moses is being read; 16 but whenever their heart turns to the Lord the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 But we all, who with faces that have been unveiled behold the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, by the Spirit from the Lord. 

Chapter 4

Therefore having this ministry, as we obtained mercy, we do not faint, but we have renounced the shameful hidden things, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience before God. 3 But if indeed our gospel has been hidden, it has been hidden to those who are perishing, 4 in whom the god of this age blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving so that the enlightenment of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine forth. 5 For we do not proclaim ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your slaves on account of Jesus. 6 Because God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is he who shone in our hearts for enlightenment of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

7 And we have this treasure in earthenware vessels, in order that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us; 8 who are afflicted in every way but not restrained, who are in difficulties but not despairing, 9 who are persecuted but not deserted, who are cast down but not perishing, 10 who always carry about the death of Jesus in our bodies, in order that the life of Jesus might be manifested in our bodies. 11 For we who are alive are always being delivered to death on account of Jesus, in order that the life of Jesus also might be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death operates in us, but life in you. 13 And having the same spirit of faith, according to the thing that has been written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we both believe, and therefore we speak, knowing that the one who has raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us and will present us with you. 15 For all things are on account of you, in order that increased grace may cause thanksgiving to abound through the majority to the glory of God. 16 Wherefore we do not faint, but if indeed our outward man is being disabled, yet our inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For the present lightness of our affliction works for us excessively to excess an eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not consider the things that are seen but the things that are not seen; for the things that are seen are temporary, but the things that are not seen are eternal.

Chapter 5

For we know that if our earthly house of the tabernacle is destroyed, we have a building of God, an eternal house in the heavens not made by hands. 2 For indeed we groan in this, greatly desiring to put on our dwelling-place out of heaven, 3 if indeed being so clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For indeed we who are in the tabernacle are burdened and groan, inasmuch as we do not wish to put off but to put on, in order that the mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5 Now the one who has wrought us for this very thing is God, the one who has given to us the earnest of the Spirit. 6 Therefore we are always of good cheer and know that while we are at home in the body we are away from home from the Lord; 7 for we walk through faith, not through appearance; 8 we are of good cheer then and think it good rather to go away from home out of the body and to come home to the Lord. 9 Wherefore we are also ambitious, whether we are at home or we are away from home, to be well-pleasing to him. 10 For all of us must be manifested before the tribunal of Christ, in order that each one may receive the things according to what things he practiced through the body, either good or worthless.

11 Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, and we have been made manifest to God; and I hope to have also been made manifest in your consciences. 12 We do not commend ourselves to you again, but we give to you an occasion of a boast on our behalf, in order that you may have it in reference to those who boast in face and not in heart. 13 For whether we are mad, it is to God; or we are in our senses, it is for you. 14 For the love of Christ constrains us, judging this, that one died on behalf of all men; 15 and he died on behalf of all in order that those who live may live no more to themselves but to the one who died on their behalf and has been raised. 16 So then from now we know no man according to the flesh; if indeed we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet we now know him no more. 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away, behold they have become new. 18 And all things are of God who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and who has given to us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 as that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning their trespasses to them, and placing in us the word of reconciliation. 20 Therefore we are ambassadors on behalf of Christ as though God beseeches through us; we beg on behalf of Christ, “Be reconciled to God.” 21 The one who did not know sin he made sin on our behalf, in order that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

Chapter 6

And working together we also beseech you to not receive the grace of God to no purpose; 2 for he says, “I heard you in an acceptable time and I helped you in a day of salvation;” behold now is a day of salvation; 3 giving no cause of stumbling in anything, lest the ministry be blamed, 4 but in everything commending ourselves as ministers of God, in much endurance, in afflictions, in necessities, in straits, in stripes, 5 in prisons, in commotions, in labors, in watchings, in fastings, 6 in purity, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in a holy spirit, in unfeigned love, 7 in a word of truth, in the power of God; through the weapons of righteousness of the right hand and of the left, 8 through glory and dishonor, through ill report and good report; as deceivers and true men, 9 as being unknown and being well known, as dying and behold we live, as being chastened and not being put to death, 10 as being grieved but always rejoicing, as poor but enriching many, as having nothing and possessing all things.

11 Our mouth has opened to you, Corinthians, our heart has been enlarged; 12 you are not restrained in us, but you are restrained in your bowels; 13 but for the same recompense, I say to you as children, be enlarged also.

14 Do not become unequally yoked with unbelievers; for what share have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 And what agreement has Christ with Beliar, or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what union has a shrine of God with idols?  For we are a shrine of a living God; as God said, “I will dwell among them and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” 17 “Wherefore come out from the midst of them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch an unclean thing; 18 and I will welcome you in, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord the Almighty.”

Chapter 7

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all pollution of flesh and of spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Make room for us, we wronged no one, we injured no one, we defrauded no one. 3 For I do not speak condemnation; for I have said previously that you are in our hearts to live with you and to die with you. 4 I have much boldness toward you, I have much boasting on behalf of you; I have been filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all of our affliction. 5 For indeed when we came into Macedonia our flesh had no rest, but was afflicted in every way; fightings without, fears within. 6 But God who comforts the humble comforted us by the presence of Titus; 7 and not only by his presence, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted over you, reporting to us your eager longing, your mourning, your zeal on my behalf, so that I rejoiced more. 8 Because if indeed I grieved you by the epistle, I do not regret; if indeed I regretted, I see that epistle that if it indeed grieved you for an hour, now I rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you were grieved to repentance; for you were grieved according to God, in order that you might suffer loss in nothing by us. 10 For Godly grief works repentance to unregrettable salvation; but the grief of the world works out death. 11 For behold this very thing, having Godly grief, what earnestness it worked out in you, what defense, what vexation, what fear, what eager desire, what zeal, what vengeance. In everything you commended yourselves to be pure in the affair. 12 Then if indeed I wrote to you, not for the sake of the one who had done wrong, nor for the sake of the one who had been wronged, but for the sake that your earnestness on our behalf might be manifested to you before God. 13 Therefore we have been comforted.  But as to our comfort, we rejoiced more abundantly over the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been rested by you all; 14 because if I have boasted anything to him on your behalf, I was not shamed, but as we spoke to you all things in truth, so our boasting over you to Titus also became truth. 15 And his bowels abound toward you as he remembers the obedience of you all, as you received him with fear and trembling. 16 I rejoice that in everything I am confident in you.

Chapter 8

Now we make known to you, brothers, the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia, 2 that in much trial of affliction and their extreme poverty their abundance of joy abounded to the riches of their liberality; 3 that according to their power, I witness, and beyond their power, of their own accord 4 with much beseeching they requested of us the grace and the fellowship of the , ministry to the saints, 5 and not as we hoped, but gave themselves firstly to the Lord and to us through the will of God, that we should beseech Titus, in order that as he previously began so he should also complete this grace in you. 7 But as you abound in everything, in faith and in word and in knowledge and in all diligence and in love from us to you, see that you may also abound in this grace. 8 I do not speak by way of command, but also trying the reality of your love through the diligence of others; for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that on your account though he was rich he impoverished himself, in order that you might become rich by the poverty of that one. 10 And I give an opinion in this:  for this is expedient for you, who not only previously began last year the performance but also had the willingness; 11 but now also complete the performance, so that as is the eagerness of your willingness, so also will be the completion out of what you have. 12 For if the eagerness is already there, it is acceptable according to whatever one has, not according to what he does not have. 13 For not in order that there may be relief to others, to distress you, but by equality 14 your abundance may at the present time be for their lack, in order that their abundance may also be for your lack, so that there may be equality, 15 as it has been written, “He with much did not abound, and he with little had not less.” 16 But thanks be to God who gives the same diligence on your behalf in the heart of Titus, 17 because he received your beseeching, and being more diligent he went forth to you of his own accord. 18 And we sent with him the brother of whom is the praise in the gospel throughout all the churches, 19 and not only this but who has also been elected by the churches as our traveling companion in this grace that is eagerly ministered by us to the glory of the Lord himself, 20 avoiding this, lest anyone should blame us in this bounty being ministered by us; 21 for we provide good things not only before the Lord but also before men. 22 And we sent our brother with them, whom we proved many times to be diligent in many things, and now much more diligent, in much confidence toward you. 23 Whether as to Titus, he is my partner and fellow-worker for you; or our brothers, they are the apostles of the churches, the glory of Christ. 24 Therefore show forth the demonstration of your love to them and our boasting on your behalf in the presence of the churches.

Chapter 9

For indeed concerning the ministry to the saints it is superfluous for me to write to you; 2 for I know your eagerness which I boast on your behalf to the Macedonians that Achaia has made preparations since last year, and your zeal stirred up very many. 3 And I sent the brothers, lest our boast on your behalf should be emptied in this respect, in order that you were prepared as I said, 4 lest if Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared we, not to speak of you, should be shamed in this confidence. 5 Therefore I thought it necessary to beseech the brothers that they proceed to you and arrange beforehand the blessing which you have promised, so that this would be ready as a blessing and not as greediness. 6 And this, the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows for blessings will also reap blessings. 7 Each one as he chose in his heart, not of grief or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to cause all grace to abound to you, in order that always having all self-sufficiency in everything you may abound to every good work, 9 as it has been written, “He scattered, he gave to the poor, his righteousness remains unto the age.” 10 Now the one who provides seed for the sower will both supply bread for food and multiply your seed and will increase the fruits of your righteousness; 11 being enriched in everything to all liberality, which works out thanksgiving through us to God; 12 because the ministry of this service is not only making up the things which the saints lack, but is also abounding through many thanksgivings to God; 13 through the proof of this ministry they are glorifying God on the submission of your confession to the gospel of Christ and on the liberality of your fellowship toward them and toward all men, 14 and they long after you with requests on your behalf on account of the excelling grace of God upon you. 15 Thanks to God for his indescribable gift.

Chapter 10

Now I Paul beseech you through the meekness and forbearance of Christ, who in person am indeed humble among you, but being absent am bold toward you; 2 now I request not to have to come and to be bold in the confidence with which I reckon to be daring toward some who reckon us as walking according to the flesh. 3 For while we walk in flesh, we do not war according to flesh, 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly but powerful to God to overthrowing of strongholds, overthrowing reasonings 5 and every high thing that rises up against the knowledge of God, and taking captive every design to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to avenge all disobedience, whenever your obedience is fulfilled.

7 You look at things according to appearance.  If anyone has persuaded himself to be of Christ, let him reckon this again within himself, that as he is of Christ, so also are we. 8 For even if I should boast somewhat more abundantly concerning our authority, which the Lord gave for edification and not for your overthrow, I shall not be shamed, 9 in order that I may not seem to frighten you through the epistles. 10 “Because his epistles,” one says, “are indeed weighty and strong, but the presence of his body is weak and his speech is despised.” 11 Let such a one reckon this, that such as we are in word through epistles while absent, such also in work while present. 12 For we do not dare to class nor compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves; but they who among themselves measure themselves and compare themselves with themselves do not understand. 13 But we will not boast immeasurably, but according to the measure of the rule which God divided to us in measure, to reach as far as even you. 14 For it is not as if we did not overstretch ourselves reaching out to you, for we came in the gospel of Christ even as far as you, 15 not boasting immeasurably in other's labors, but having hope as your faith grows to be magnified in abundance according to our rule among you, to preach in the parts beyond you, not to boast in things already in another's rule. 18 But the one who boasts, let him boast in the Lord; 18 for it is not the one who commends himself that is approved, but whom the Lord commends.

Chapter 11

I would that you endured me a little bit of foolishness; but indeed you do endure me. 2 For I am jealous of you with a godly jealousy, for I betrothed you to one husband, to present a pure virgin to Christ; 3 and I fear lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cleverness, your thoughts should be seduced from the simplicity and the purity in Christ. 4 For if indeed someone comes and proclaims another Jesus whom we did not proclaim, or you receive a different spirit which you did not receive from us, or a different gospel which you did not receive, you endure him well enough. 5 For I reckon to have come behind nothing of the super-apostles. 6 But if indeed I am unskilled in speech, yet not in knowledge, but in every way we have manifested ourselves in all things to you. 6 Or did I commit sin by humbling myself in order that you might be exalted, because I preached the good tidings of the gospel of God to you freely? 8 I robbed other churches by taking wages for your ministry, 9 and when I was present with you and lacking, I was an encumbrance of no man; for my lack was made up when the brothers came from Macedonia; and in every way I kept myself unburdensome to you and will keep myself so. 10 The truth of Christ is in me, that in the regions of Achaia this boasting shall not be stopped in me. 11 Why?  Because I do not love you?  God knows. 12 But what I do, I will also do, in order that I may cut off the occasion of those who desire an occasion, in order that wherein they boast they may also be found like us. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder; for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness; their end will be according to their works.

16 I say again, let no one think me to be foolish; otherwise, receive me as foolish if you will, in order that I may boast a little.17 What I speak, I do not speak according to the Lord, but as in folly, in this confidence of boasting. 18 Since many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast. 19 For you who are prudent gladly endure fools; 20 for you endure if anyone enslaves you, if anyone devours you, if anyone takes from you, if anyone lifts himself up, if anyone hits you in the face. 21 I speak according to dishonor, as that we have been weak; but in whatever respect anyone dares, I say in folly, I also dare. 22 Are they Hebrews?  I also. Are they Israelites? I also. Are they seed of Abraham? I also. 23 Are they ministers of Christ? -I speak being out of my mind- I more: in labors more abundantly, in prisons more abundantly, in stripes excessively, in deaths many times. 24 Five times I received by Jews forty stripes less one, 25 thrice I was beaten by rods, once I was stoned, thrice I was shipwrecked, 26 I have spent a night and a day in the deep; in travels many times, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils of countrymen, in perils of nations, in perils in a city, in perils in a desert, in perils at sea, in perils among false brothers, 27 in labor and hardship, in watchings many times, in famine and thirst, in fastings many times, in cold and nakedness; 28 apart from the things without that conspire against me daily, the care of all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak?  Who is offended, and I do not burn? 30 If I must boast the things of my weakness, I will boast. 31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is blessed unto the ages, knows that I am not lying. 32 In Damascus the ethnarch of Aretas the King guarded the city of the Damascenes to seize me, 33 and I was lowered in a basket through a window in the wall and escaped his hands.

Chapter 12

It is indeed not expedient that I should boast, so I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I knew a man in Christ fourteen years ago,-whether in the body I do not know, or outside the body I do not know, God knows-, such a one was caught to the third heaven. 3 And I know such a man - whether in the body or apart from the body, God knows,- 4 that he was caught into the paradise and heard unspeakable words, which it is not permissible for a man to speak. 5 I will boast on behalf of such a one, but I will not boast on behalf of myself except in my weaknesses. 6 For if I should wish to boast, I shall not be foolish, for I will speak truth; but I spare, lest anyone reckons to me beyond what he sees or hears of me 7 and by the excess of revelations.  Wherefore lest I should be exceedingly uplifted, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, in order that he might buffet me, lest I should be exceedingly uplifted. 8 About this I sought the Lord three times, in order that it might depart from me. 9 And he said to me, “My grace suffices you; for my power is perfected in weakness.”  Most gladly therefore I will rather boast in my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ might overshadow me. 10 Wherefore I am well pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions and difficulties, on behalf of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am powerful.

11 I have become foolish; you compelled me.  For I ought to be commended by you.  For I lacked nothing of the super-apostles, even if I am nothing. 12 Indeed the signs of the apostles were wrought among you in all endurance, both by signs and wonders and by powerful deeds. 13 For in what way were you less than the remaining churches, except that I did not encumber you myself?  Forgive me this wrong. 14 Behold, this is the third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not encumber you; for I do not seek your things, but you.  For the children ought not to lay up treasure for the parents, but the parents for the children. 15 But I will spend most gladly and will be spent out on behalf of your souls.  If I love you more abundantly, am I loved less? 16 But let it be, I have not burdened you; but being crafty, I took you with guile. 17 Did I defraud you through anyone of whom I have sent to you? 18 I besought Titus and sent a brother with him; did Titus defraud you? Did we not walk by the same spirit? Did we not walk in the same steps?

19 Already you think that we are making a defense to you.  We speak before God in Christ; but all things, beloved, are on behalf of your edification. 20 For I fear lest when I come I may not find you such as I wish, and I am found by you such as you do not wish, lest strife, jealousy, angers, rivalries, detractions, whisperings, puffings up, disturbances; 21 lest when I come again my God may humble me with you, and I shall mourn many of those who have previously sinned and not repented over the uncleanness and fornication and lewdness which they practiced.

Chapter 13

This is the third time I am coming to you; every word shall be establish by the mouth of two or three witnesses. 2 I have previously said and a say beforehand, as I was present the second time and am absent now, to those who have previously sinned and to those who remain in sin, that if I come again I will not spare you, 3 since you seek a proof in me that I speak of Christ, who is not weak toward you but is powerful in you. 4 For indeed he was crucified out of weakness, but he lives by the power of God.  For indeed we are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. 5 Test yourselves if you are in the faith, prove yourselves; or do you yourselves not perceive that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are counterfeits? 6 But I hope that you will know that we are not counterfeits. 7 Now we pray to God that you do no evil, not in order that we may appear approved, but in order that you may do the good, and we may be as counterfeits. 8 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but on behalf of the truth. 9 For we rejoice when we are weak, and you are powerful; we also pray this, your restoration. 10 Therefore I write these things while I am absent, in order that when I am present I may not deal sharply according to the authority which the Lord gave me for edification and not for overthrow.

11 Finally, brothers, rejoice, restore yourselves, admonish yourselves, think the same thing, be at peace, and the God of love and of peace will be with you. 12 Greet one another with a holy kiss.  All the saints greet you.

13 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
